Gallant House

Historic Elegance with a Personal Touch

The Gallant House — built in 1880 by one of the area's most successful merchants, Joseph Gallant — is a true representation of Victorian era Prince Edward Island. Whether relaxing in a large wingback chair with ottoman in one of its two parlours, swapping stories with other guests, or enjoying evening snacks like a cup of tea and a classic Island biscuit (all available upon request), you’re always surrounded by elegance. We’ve also a selection of Island literature on hand, with books available for guests to borrow during your visit. You may even feel inspired to play a tune on our charming antique 1890 Parlour Grand Piano.
